Friday Blog Hops 8.12.11

TGIF!! Woohoo our favorite day is here again! Who's up for a margarita?!
We sure are!!
So what's everyone up to this weekend? Isalys and I will be having some breakfast together tomorrow and then we'll be hitting up our nearest Border's for their closing sale. We're sad to see it go but are grateful to buy books at a reduced price :)

Today's Book Blogger Hop question is:
“Let’s talk crazy book titles! Highlight one or two (or as many as you like!) titles in your personal collection that have the most interesting titles! If you can’t find any, feel free to find one on the internet!”

I actually find The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan to be quite interesting! When I first heard the title of this book I literally pictured a forest with hanging hands and teeth lol. I sometimes take things a bit too literal... can ya tell?!

My choice is The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest. My initial reaction was, "Why would she wanna do that? Dumb *^&^% will get her ass kicked by bugs!"

  4. I easily came up with five crazy book titles just by taking a fast look at my bookshelf.

All five come from the same book series. Can you guess which series it is?

Here’s a hint – The book series is a trilogy in five parts.

  6. From books I read, I though In the Forests of the Night was a good one. That title I would read with the beats like I had to do with poetry for finding beats and rhythm and whatnot!

    Here's my Friday Hops

    Have a GREAT weekend!

  10. Good question! I think the intriguing titles that have most recently caught my attention were Lily of the Nile by Stephanie Dray (since I love Egyptian mythology) and Hunger and Rage by Jackie Morse Kessler.

    Smiles!
