iChallenges 2011!

Hi guys! We've decided to host this challenge again this year, but with some differences. All the iChallenges will be grouped into one nice big challenge {This saves us a whole lot of time!}. The themes will still be iVamp, iWitch, iFae, and iWere, yayyy! I know, we're excited too! We ♥ these themes!! I mean really, this challenge should be a snap. Who doesn't read books about Vamps, Weres, the Fae, and Witches right??

Challenge Rules & Info:

Challenge STARTS January 1, 2011 and ENDS December 31, 2011

Sign up by filling your info in the Mr. Linky below {If you don't have a blog, you can use your GoodReads, Facebook, etc}

Read at least 10 Vampy, Witchy, Fae-ish, or Were-ish books this year. Remember, the more the merrier!

The books can be print, ebooks, and audio books

Reread books ARE allowed, BUT, the review must be rewritten. You cannot use old reviews.

I'll have a post up each month with the Mr. Linky to have the reviews posted.

Challenges are open to non-bloggers. A review must be written and posted on a literary site, such as GoodReads, Amazon, etc.

There will be prizes throughout the year. The months of the prizes will be chosen at random - you know, to keep things interesting, hehe. The prizes won't just be books… they can be anything from Bookmarks, to Giftcards, and possibly, if we're feeling frisky, maybe even a book tote! Who knows what the year may bring!

iChallenge Playlist 2010

(PLEASE READ COMPLETELY! We know this is a long post, but there's a lot of important stuff on here.)

What is the iChallenge Playlist?

The iChallenge Playlist is a list of our iChallenges...duh! Ok, seriously now. The iChallenges are 4 challenges within the playlist that you can participate in. Those challenges are: iFae, iWere, iWitch, and iVamp. You can sign up for the entire iChallenge Playlist or you can select to do whichever one floats your boat =)

There WILL be prizes at the end of every month. Prizes will range from bookmarks to actual books and maybe, if you're lucky, some of our home-made goodies =) AND, if it's a particularly good month for us , then we'll probably give away a gift card or two. The prizes are not chosen in advance, but rather at the end of each month.

The Basic Rules that apply:

(There are more specific rules at the bottom of each iChallenge)

♥ Read as many books as you can between
Feb 1, 2010 & Feb 1, 2011.
Ex: If you choose iWere, you can read as many Werewolf books as you like.

♥ Anyone can join!
Bloggers need to post a review on their site and then link it back here under the specific month. Do not link back with your general blog link. Paste the link to the actual REVIEW post.

Non-Bloggers can write a review and post it on any leading book site, such as Amazon, B&N, GoodReads, LibraryThing, Shelfari, etc. Then, after you post it on one of those sites, paste THAT link under the respective month.

♥ If you are a blogger and you decide to participate in this challenge, then please copy and paste the above image icon onto the sidebar of your blog.

♥ You do NOT need to select your books ahead of time.

♥ Your books CAN cross over into other challenges.
Ex. If you read a book that has Weres, Vamps AND Witches in it, you can count it towards iWere, iVamp AND iWitch.

♥ You cannot use old posted reviews.

In other words, if you read a book last year that you already wrote a review on, you cannot count it towards these challenges unless you read it again and write a fresh review.

♥ There WILL be prizes at the end of each month while this challenge is active.

♥ The prizes will only be sent within the U.S. and Canada.

Sorry about that! As I stated earlier... we pay for this ourselves and we will not be able to send anything outside of the U.S. and Canada.

♥ We will announce ONE winner & ONE prize per month for ALL of the iChallenges. If we are able to do more, then we might choose more winners for the individual iChallenges, but please do not expect that to happen every month! Bottom line, we will have a minimum of one winner per month, more if we could!

The (Specific) iChallenge Playlist

iFae Challenge

Read a whole bunch of Faery books! Yayyy! Who doesn't love that?! The main character does not have to be a faery as long as there are faeries in the book you can count it towards the challenge.
**I wonder how many people are going to read Peter Pan and count it towards the challenge? LOL!**

iVamp

We're not tired of reading about vampires and we hope you're not! Read anything and everything about vampires and then tell us about it :)

iWere Challenge

Read as many werewolf books as you can this year. The main character does not have to be a werewolf though. Any book counts as long as there is a werewolf in it.

iWitch Challenge

Read anything & everything about witches. Like all the others, the main character does not have to be a witch as long as there are witches in the book you can count it towards the challenge.

SPECIAL NOTE: Magic books can also count towards this challenge. For example, if you read a book that doesn't specifically say there are witches but does deal with magic, we will allow you to count it towards the challenge.
