We are so happy, and well, relieved that Friday is finally here. This has been the longest short week ever!
T-G-I-F!!
It's time for The Blogger Hop and Follow Friday again. The Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy-for-Books and Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View. They created these memes to give bloggers and readers a chance to network, support each other and find new blogs to read & enjoy.
Today's Blogger Hop question is: Who are our favorite authors and why?
Today's Blogger Hop question is: Who are our favorite authors and why?
Isalys's favorite authors include Jane Austen, Jennifer Haymore, Meredith Duran, Gena Showalter, Richelle Mead, Anne Easter Smith, and if Gail Carriger keeps it up she'll definitely become a favorite too!
The reason these ladies are my favorite is because I admire each one of them...although all for different reasons. However, they are ALL incredibly talented, clever, and dedicated writers who know how to keep me on the edge of my seat. They keep me enthralled with their unique and brilliantly told stories. I love to read because I want to disconnect from the world as I know it and visit someone else's world and they definitely do that for me!

Vanessa's favorite authors include J.K.Rowling, Carrie Ryan, Alyson Noel, and Charlaine Harris. (I'm sure there are others but I'm just having "one of those ditzy days" lol!
The reason I've chosen these authors as my favorite are because these wonderful ladies really know how to tell a story! I especially love the Magical World of Harry Potter. I wish I had the imagination and the ability to create a world different than our own. How did she ever come up with Quidditch? Or "Muggles"? I love books that have their own "Lingo".
