This month, in lieu of RAK gifts, we had a blogger Christmas party.  Yani from The Secret Life of an Avid Reader, Jen from Not Now I'm Reading, and Ash from Smash Attack Reads! all joined us :) Ash even made her awesome Candy Cane Martinis for us (see first pic). Jen and Vanessa got scarves as part of their Secret Santa gifts...lol.

We also sent Christmas cards and non-bookish goodies to some of the friends that have made the most impact on our lives over the course of the year.  We wish we could have sent more but then we'd really need a workshop with elves, lol.

2011 has been a challenging year, to say the least, but if we're thankful for anything this year it's the really great friends that we've made!

We received:
Thank you Daphne from Publish Novels or Bust!  Both have been read already ;)

Thank you Lethea B (@Luvdaylillies) for my copy of Daughter of Smoke & Bones!  You are one of the sweetest, most generous RAKers we know :)

Thank you Mindy from Magical Urban Fantasy Reads :) I already devoured this book and can't wait for the sequel next year!

I got another copy of Wicked In Your Arms by Sophie Jordan, but this one was dedicated & signed :) Woohoo!!  Thank you to my good friend Carrie (@NewUTMommy) from Stalking the Bookshelves for my awesome RAK!

And thank you to Lindsay J for my copy of So Silver Bright. I don't know what your Twitter tag or blog is but I thank you nonetheless for thinking of me :)

It really was Christmas this month with all these amazing RAK gifts.  Thank you ALL for your continued participation in sharing the love of reading with others. We couldn't have asked for better bloggy friends!!!

PS: Don't forget to leave the links to your R.A.K. October Wrap-Up! posts so we can stop by and check out your loot!!
