Sadly, 2011 has been nothing short of an absolutely miserable year! Unfortunately, Vanessa and I have both struggled with things in our personal lives (ranging from unemployment and financial difficulties, to family illness and deaths, health scares, and even a miscarriage) that made it impossible to focus on our blogging lives :(
The good news is that hopefully all that is in the past and we can start fresh in 2012! Woot!
We want to extend a special THANK YOU to all the new friends we've made (thanks in no small part to Twitter) and who've supported us with their patience, kind words, encouragements, laughs and long-distance hugs. All these things helped more than you guys can know!
We miss books. We miss blogging. We miss you guys!
We're going to try *really* hard to get back into the groove of blogging regularly. We're both a bit rusty to say the least so it might take a bit to get back into the full-swing of things but ...

OMG I'm so sorry to hear 2011 was so tough. *hugs* I feel ya. It was bittersweet for me. I lost my dad in April but gained a healthy beautiful baby girl in Dec.
